Begin the new year with a relaxing break at Saddlers B&B and embrace the rain and grey clouds with a walk in our ancient woodlands - Kingley Vale National Nature Reserve. Start the day with a hearty and healthy breakfast followed by a brisk walk from our B&B to Kingley Vale and view Europe's oldest yew trees and see views from the top, scanning from Isle of Wight, Portsmouth to Goodwood.
Design Vintage Cafe Pit Stop
With a lovely cafe that serves delicious food, cakes and fabulous coffee and a few minutes walk from the exit of Kingley Vale, it is a great place to have a break and check out all their gorgeous items...it's tempting not to buy everything in the shop.
One of our favourite walks is Emsworth, and has some of Sussex's best spots to view birds and very relaxing. The walk starts at Beach Road and finishes at the bridge to Hayling Island. Make sure you wear wellie boots and check the tide times before setting off as the sea will flood the coastal path.
Return back to Saddlers B&B and enjoy Milly's homemade cakes, fudge and cookies and put your feet up in front of the roaring fire and relax.
Make the most of Sussex during the out of season time and feel that you have the best beauty spots all to yourself. It's no wonder Sussex is one of the top locations to visit as there is so much to see and do.
