What's new at Saddlers B&B this Autumn
Dear friends
As we say goodbye to summer and welcome the first hints of autumn, we wanted to pop into your inbox with a little hello from Saddlers B&B. We’ve had a wonderful summer welcoming old friends and new faces, and it’s always such a pleasure to share our little corner of West Sussex with you.
There’s lots happening around over the coming months before even think about Christmas, beautiful autumnal days exploring the South Downs, fresh walks on the empty beaches, and of course, plenty of cosy evenings to look forward to. We’ve also been busy behind the scenes at Saddlers, with a few lovely new additions that we can’t wait to tell you about…
So, grab a drink and have a little read.
We hope to see you at Saddlers soon!

🍓 Our Latest Batch of Homemade Jams Has Arrived!
We’re delighted to share that our latest order of delicious homemade jams has arrived at Saddlers B&B and they’re looking as gorgeous as ever!
These special preserves are lovingly made by our great friend Robert from Bosham, using fruit grown in his own garden. They’re 100% organic, homemade and completely unique to Saddlers B&B.
We offer blackcurrant, blackberry, loganberry and raspberry jams.
But there’s something even more special about these jars…
🐈 Every Penny Goes to Charity 🐰
All sales from the jams are donated to the wonderful Cat & Rabbit Rescue Centre. The Cat & Rabbit Rescue Centre was founded in 1986 to rescue, care for, and re-home cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs. Over the years, they have helped more than 40,000 animals, rehoming around 1,000 animals every year. In 2026, they proudly celebrate 40 years of giving animals a second chance.
So when you enjoy a jar of our homemade jam with your breakfast, you’re not only enjoying something delicious, you’re helping give an animal a second chance at life.
A great cause and great taste
What’s not to love?
If you’d like to purchase a jar during your next visit to Saddlers B&B, just let us know, while supplies last!
Thank you for supporting our little charity initiative and helping us support such a wonderful local cause.

New double glazing sash windows at Saddlers...
because we listen
We’ve been listening to our guests! ❤️
One of the things you’ve told us is that road noise could occasionally be heard from the guest bedrooms, so we decided to do something about it.
We’re delighted to say that all of our guest bedrooms at Saddlers B&B now have brand new handmade wooden double glazed sash windows.
It’s all part of our commitment to continually improving your stay and making Saddlers as comfortable, peaceful and relaxing as possible.
So whether you’re here for a Goodwood weekend, exploring the South Downs, or simply enjoying a little countryside escape, we hope you’ll notice the difference.
You asked. We listened. We acted.
Here’s to a perfect night's sleep! 😴
