This lockdown has given us time and headspace to step out of our regular routine and be creative. With you in our thoughts and at the front of our focus, we have been busy collaborting wtih local businesses to give you the most funfactor time here at Saddlers. We know each and everyone is unique - with that in mind, we have come up with a variety of different activities that you could do whilst staying with us.
Electric Bikes
We can arrange drop off and collection of electric bikes here at Saddlers. With routes as adventurous or gentle as you wish, you are spoilt for choice. One of our favourite routes is heading up to Kingley Vale National Park, Stoughton village and back through the local picturesque country villages.
Country Walks - Lets get exploring
With a variety of walks ranging from beaches, woodlands, city to scenery, there is something for everyone here, right on our doorstep. We can create a suitable walk that matches your desires and interests, but best of all, welcome you at the end of the afternoon with some delicous homemade cake, hot drinks and a roaring fire to toasty up those toes!
Calling all animal lovers - An amble with Alpacas
What could be more enjoyable than keeping healthy, soaking up the Sussex Downs and taking an alpaca for a stroll. Dunreyth Alpacas is an alpaca smallholding owned by a husband and wife in Adsdean Park, located 2 minutes drive from us and situated in the South Downs National Park.
Tours and tasting at Ashling Park (2 minutes walk from us)
Award winning Ashling Park specialises in sparkling wine and is only a 2 minutes walk from us. A truly fascinating vineyard tour in an estate dating back to 1822. You will get to try their two trophy winning sparkling wines, one of their still wines followed by their own gin distilled from Pinot Noir grapes grown on the estate. There is also the option to book a tasty platter of local cheeses, breads, olives and pickles to enjoy after your tasting.
