Spring brings fresh updates to our B&B! Here's what we have in store for you:

Seasonal Refresh: Our rooms and common areas are dressed with cheerful spring décor, including fresh flowers from our garden.
Saddlers Garden Vibes: Enjoy our private garden, alive with tulips, daffodils, and the magnolia tree — ideal for a peaceful moment or a picturesque photo.
New Spring Menu: Enjoy homemade delights, including locally sourced produce and seasonal flavours. Don’t miss our homemade lemon madeleine’s on your arrival and the deliciously smooth locally roasted coffee from Arundel!

West Dean Gardens: Celebrate the season with a festival of plants, gardening workshops, and refreshments. They do a fantastic sausage roll!
Goodwood Estate Walks: Stroll through the Goodwood grounds, soaking up the history and spring beauty of this iconic estate.
Spring Hikes and Trails: Discover scenic trails bursting with wildflowers and breath taking views from Kingley Vale National Park. We’re happy to provide maps and recommendations!
Bluebell Spectacle at Kingley Vale: Just a few minutes drive away from us, the ancient woods of Kingley Vale transform into a breath taking sea of bluebells during springtime. These vibrant blooms, set against the majestic yew trees, create a magical, must-see experience. Perfect for nature lovers, photographers, or anyone seeking a peaceful escape.
Chichester Farmers' Market: Every first and third Friday of the month, discover fresh produce, artisan goods, and seasonal treats right in the city centre.

Spring is the perfect time to visit Petworth House and Park, a gem in West Sussex, a 30 minutes drive away from Saddlers.

Turner’s Inspiration: This grand 17th-century house is famously associated with J.M.W. Turner, whose stunning landscapes were inspired by its grounds. Step into the opulent galleries to view original works by Turner and other masters.

Pallant House Gallery

Located in Chichester, Pallant House Gallery stages a varied programme of exhibitions showcasing the very best in modern British art from 1900 to today. The permanent collection features work by Barbara Hepworth, Henry Moore, Damien Hirst, and Patrick Caulfield to name but a few, telling the story of British art from Post-Impressionism, right through to contemporary art. They have a good cafe in the courtyard and offer lunches and dinners.
